COSMIC FORM VISION YOGA (XI)
Summary of Eleven Speeches:
Arjuna's doubts have been removed with a clear explanation of Atman's condition and the origin and destruction of all created things, and he is now ready to see the Cosmic Vision.
Krishna gives him a divine vision in which Arjuna sees the Lord as a great Cosmic Sign. The vision at the same time is broad and complete. On all sides Arjuna sees the Lord as the universe. All created worlds, gods, creatures, creatures and things are presented as the great body of the Lord.
Arjuna also sees that the great cosmic drama begins to operate and is controlled by the supernatural power of the Lord. His will alone conquers all things and deeds, good and bad. The Lord urges him to fight, he is the visible cause of the destruction of his enemies.
Arjuna is unable to bear the pressure of a sudden increase in understanding and is full of fear. He pleads with the Lord to re-apply His standard form.
Krishna goes on to say that this idea is not to be taken for granted by any kind of difficulty, study, sacrifice, or generosity. Only the highest devotion is the means by which one can attain His ideal vision.
